Desert Dust is a South African botanical brand built around one remarkable indigenous plant: Sceletium tortuosum, known locally as kanna. For generations, the Khoi and San peoples of the arid Karoo and Namaqualand regions chewed, smoked or brewed this plant as part of daily life — valued for its calming, mood-lifting qualities.
We set out to honour that heritage by bringing Sceletium into products people already reach for — a botanical beer, gummies, a party-ready beverage, a preroll, and traditional snuff — each one crafted with care and clearly labelled, so you always know exactly what you're getting.
